Ilona Lakatos

When?

When you are lonely
and you feel like there is no one beside you
just look in the mirror
because you are unique and unrepeatable.
let the sunshine cheer you up
or just the gentle touch of the breeze,
you can create
which can be anything
a nice picture
a poem
a special cake
everything that makes you happy
and you are no longer alone
because after your hand
life comes alive.

2.
It's that simple

A sweet smile
a meaningful conversation,
a true word from the heart
beautifies everyday life.

A little kitten who purrs at you
a dog who is happily waiting for you home,
a tiny flower that opens for you
beautifies everyday life.

How much beauty and love can surround you,
if you notice the little things and "little things".
It's that simple to experience joy and happiness,

only your heart should be pure and true.

3.
My mother

It's been many years since you left
but since then there hasn't been a day
so that countless thoughts would not come to my mind.

Helped me in the storm of life,
every word you say.
You weren't by my side
but you live in my heart
and every word
which gives hope.

You set an example of faith, loyalty, love,
out of honor despite the difficulties.
Trust, honesty is such a rare thing,
but I also learned this from you,
that life can only be complete in this way,
even if sometimes they tear the heart.

The day will come when we meet again
because it all ends once in a while
earthly existence.
You've been waiting a long time, I know
and when the time is up, we'll meet again
because our faith

gives this comfort.

4.
Complaint

I see the world through bars
I look forward to tomorrow when the walls come down.
My old master can't come for me anymore
because he is no longer alive, he is not with me.
I bark bitterly
the others join me.
Maybe someone will hear
sometimes my silent scream?

Here are the walls
where we often huddle together hungry.
Waiting for a kind word, a bite,
maybe we'll never get it again?

It's terrible when they come at us with the needle,
one of us is leaving today
perhaps a happier, more beautiful life awaits him?

My old master loved me
he always called me names.
I was happier than ever before

only my silent scream rises to the sky.

5.
 Is it my country?

I see the limit in boundless roads,
my heart longs for the other side.
But like lights fading in the wind,
that's how happy hopes are dashed.

No one understood me
for which I picked up a walking stick.
Driven away by fear, suffering,
because life is momentary
often worthless.

I don't understand when they look at me wildly
pierces my soul like a dagger
the silent indifference and judgment.

Will I still have a country?
where can i live
Or just the walking stick?
Can I hide like a hunted wild animal?

I can't find the answers
maybe this is how my whole life will pass.
I just go and go like a weary wanderer
who can't rest anywhere.

Go home!
But where is my country?
My home is in ruins
on the street there is only the stub of destructive infamy.

Where is my country?
I don't even know myself.
There are only limits towards which I step.
Then one day my strength will run out, my doom will come,
maybe I'll find a home in heaven.

6.
  The last summer twilight

Slowly the last ray of sunlight crept into place,
turning the lake and landscape into gold.
The foam in the water is pink and purple,
like the happy moment in life.

We start slowly, dusk has come,
one last look at the sun
which is already hidden behind the clouds,
only a tiny ray indicates,
his journey is over, he can rest.

But a nice memory,
we can still see many sunsets,
but still each one is different,
as the daily challenge in our lives.

7.
  Parrot apartment
"My Castle - My House"

Berci, he came from a long way,
settled in the Round Forest.
Summer passed, it started to get cold,
he built himself a small house.

A fox lurks in the trees,
he did not take his eyes off her.
I'll have dinner
Go to sleep, little parrot!

Sleep escaped Berci's eyes.
I live here alone
I don't have a friend.

The fox coma heard,
the sigh of the little bird.
He forgot all his sorrows,
empty stomach.

He carefully crept forward,
he walked restlessly,
arrived at the Parrot House.

Berci noticed
he narrowed his eyes at her.
They stared at each other,
when Berci laughed at himself.

Come on, Fox Coma.
Be my Friend!
The house is small, but we can fit
then we will live together.

8.
The last train

When the last train leaves,
which you board.
It's over and there's no stopping.

You wear it all your life,
all your burdens, all your sins.
There is no stop to throw away what you no longer need,
because the final destination is so close.

Time ticks by
maybe you can still change.
But the train rumbles fast.
Time ticks by
maybe you can still change.

You can drive on any terrain,
your life is comfortable or miserable.
Your train is still going in one direction.

Time ticks by
maybe you can still change.
But the train rumbles fast.
Time ticks by

maybe you can still change.

9.
My Child

How fleeting time is, it will pass quickly.
My child in a minute,
it grew as fast as
moment.

I still remember his lovely smile,
which time has not forgotten with me either.
Adult, but sweet-and-kind,
if you look at me
I see the little child who has always loved.

We had a lot of struggles along the way,
pain, grief, joy,
My child, thank you for your loyalty.

There was no storm
which would have torn him apart
the deep connection of our love,
which is already embraced by a life.

My Child! Receive my poem on this day.
The once small child,
who have you ever been.
He lives in my heart
like an adult
who will accompany you today

and every day.

10.
Joy, love, humanity and peace

There is no peace in your turbulent heart,
you think about tomorrow, about the many difficulties.
You seek the good and the beautiful,
but sometimes only darkness remains for you.

A homeless man walks past you
he doesn't speak, he just raises his sad eyes to you and you understand the silent plea.

Just a little jingle in your pocket,
blushing, you put it in his hand.
He looks up at you gratefully.
- There is still humanity and love in the world. he says quietly.

Tears fall from your eyes
and nothing is so difficult anymore
Tomorrow is not hopeless either.
your soul is filled with joy and peace.
