POEMS OF Dr. NIGAR KHALILOVA
“NEFTCHI”
Green field and round ball,
Team’s fist
To score a goal.
Supporters are solidary
And wish you win a victory.
Don’t lose a single game,
Goalkeeper, back your gate.
“Neftchi”- black gold creature,
Keep in step with future!
Success is your admixture,
Azerbaijani nature.

GAZA
The ruins look gloomily and ugly at us,
Life died and felt underground.
Only survivors walk like ghosts,
Or screaming the names those who is
gone.
Kids in white bundles in the arms of
their fathers,
Children who never won’t grow,
Never will smile, like trumble flowers,
Like birds with their throats torn off.
Long suffering Gaza has turned into
cemetery,
Death walks with black scythe.
The streets are filled with blood of innocents,
And they still continuer to die.
The devil is out of control,
Unheard of godlessness reigns.
No roofs, no houses, just bombs fall,
Like keeps pouring down the fatal rain.

HOMELAND
I’m Azerbaijani,
Azerbaijan’s my motherland,
My Karabakh, Sheki, Shirvan,
Forever we have bound!
Like sun from east has risen,
Nightingales to be listen,
Like mountain’s snow in Shusha,
My love is deep and shines.

LOVE SONG
When found I have done
Whatever I have planned,
The wish train wants to run.
Still heart is feeling spring,
And blood is blowing ring,
Still lips in cherry ink.
My soul’s flight is high,
Above the aging cloud,
Love song is never tired!

ARABIAN SUMMER
Summer afternoon,
There is boil in the air.
Lips become shallow, like rivers.
Salt in words and first for a drop of
moisture.
The palm trees have drooped,
Surrendering like flags under torture.
The Arabian sun is on fire,
Dust and stones are fried on the brazier.
Not knowing autumn, grass
Turn to the ashes, burning to gray.

SUMMER MOON
The warm blues are barely audible,
The sky is an abyss in charm.
I am languishing in anticipation
Of a radiant date.
Unusual moon in erotic delay,
Like a love desire appears growing,
This lunar eyes exude so much bliss,
They wrap around, promise,
Burning and extinguishing.
Voluptuous Lady,
Dreams mistress,
The sun of darkness of the universe,
I love you to tears!

RAIN
The rain sings as it presses a green
keys,
The roses drink transparent nectar.
Whether from rain or from roses
Trembling wetly in sparks.
Diamonds on the leaves-
This is night’s ghostly gift.
The air of summer insomnia is fresh breeze,
Coming to life like buds of spring.
The alveoli in it celebrate the time of
flowering,
Surrounded by urban dusty pleura.
The branches twist like shiny snakes
Under the warm pressure of falling
streams.
The rain rejoices if I dare to believe,
The is no earthly vale,
The is no other stings in the world.
