The Pole Star
A temple of gold you are,
A shining star in the arms of the moon.
You are infinite.
You are a conqueror;
You brought lights from the Orion
And lit the pathway of man.
It is you who
Breathed wisdom into the tender hearts.
Strange is the world indeed.
Stranger are its faces:
Joyful sometimes, sometimes melancholic,
And often vibrant!
You walked miles,
Treaded along on this ever-changing earth,
Stepping now, on the threshold of gleaming dusk.
Even Krishna, Buddha, Isa, Mohammed
Are charmed by your spell.
You basked in their blessing
And earned a true soul.
Such are the prayers of mine,
Be the blissful heart of thine,
Thus be blessed by countless great names.
On this auspicious day,
I shower upon you
A fountain of pure joy.
Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday! Happy Birthday!
Dear Ahmed Reza!

Talukdar LOVELY
BIO
Talukdar,s Lovely debut as a writer was first publicly exposed, by her controversial novel “Tadbirey Takdir” (FatebyLobbying). Her very first writing hit at the fundamentalist Think-Tanks. However, her writing drew attentions of the Free Thinkers with much appreciation, despite endangering herself from the fundamentalists. This obvious threat, couldn’t stop her free-thinking Pen. With courage she endured her bold writing…
Her writing indulgencesstarted early from her youth. In recent past, many of her stories, poems & essays were published in different national dailies. Talking to her, it became very clear of her convictions and its underlying inspirationdrivenobjective; she assertively states that: “I’ve taken the Pen to expose the social-façade put-on by the profiteering exploiters, by unmasking their evils and thus educating the mass, rescuing the innocent victims…freeing them from such trickeries”. She has in the meanwhile, also earned her benevolent-fame (in known circles), as a ‘committed-writer’ who donates all her earnings from writing to the needy, underprivileged poor.
