Auaduma A Adookorn

POEMS BY AUADUMA A ADOOKORN
MY COLOUR

i am the colour of rainbow
royhgiv is my name
when i am red,
clad in violet
i wrestle with Angel for my right:
turn orange
and find happiness in genius
i am the yellow
in egg yolk,
sunflower and bee
calling for sentience
to my growth and renewal
when i'm green
dress indigo for the sapphire
sky wrapped in mystery
of sang-froid and sapience
at midnight
for sixth sense
of supernal living
flex my soft coy life
and share!

LIGHTING

quicksilver knife
shred the sky
dance
conga to the north
samba to the south
murmur and mull
flash
flaunt
echoe to the east
whisper to the west
wigwag
two-edged machete
etch stretch marks
on lap the sky
smile
laugh
give its biceps a flex in the wood
plot
tattoo
on body of the sky
run helter-skelter
bleep
clap
combing for moon
searching for the sun
beat drums of fright
collide with air
crack
crank
rumble and strike
return to its sheath!

COCOON

aleatory dawn waits pupa
larva spin cocoon
           worming
in larva goldsmith furnace
assess its expectant environment
to explore and be recognised;
life glows
pelter tussle cat and dog
sun emits lethal ray
quake shakes with seismic vibe
storm ramps caseworm
lighting and thunder does not wrack
                          pupa
it footile for a while
learning to adapt
pelter
sun
quake
storm
lighting and thunder tug pupa
                        continual
etched image of diamond
bronze
silver
gold
or
clay
come to light
when a child grows into
an adult
away from the cocoon of parents

MONGERS OF WAR

you tee up war
with twisted lullabies
coz you don't suffer the bane of war
your bosom is planted
at the rear of small voice
-- yardstick
at the boundary of insouciance

saddle horses of warrior robots
batter
buffalo soldiers
gallop
the jungle of no retreat
hale plastic
robots and reined horses --
replaceable tools of war
-- pace through immemorial terrain,;
like missing arrow of target
doesn't matter to the archer
who combs the jungle
with swords of foretaste
spur
conscripted robots
born plastic toy
to die
deflated death of balloon
hurl
their ashes continual
into supine pen
where mongers of war
fear to step!

YELLOW LEAF

green leaf
blossoms in spring
grow grey in summer
the glamour of youth beetle over time
lingers on lane of memory,
in songs of of yellow dance
                     on guard
against melodious breeze and storm,
yellow leaf waits on the long suffering of time
to nurse soil for new sprout
let green leaf dance the chivaree
of breeze and storm
wait as time takes long suffering
                      to brush it yellow
and reap the blessings of old age!

TALE OF A WHORE

the pale saga of numb nature -
an aged witch on street of emotion
serves me her cup of wander wine
distill in lethal pot
on the way to my grave i found
the informal way to pop off
in the bosom of a laudatory cocotte
do not hold me back with sacral words
till the battlement of lust slum in her shade
i sing her slim body of lilly,
her ivory skin,
carmine lips
kiss amorous breeze and neck;
her vanity solo over my dream,
scale my lust on graph
of flaunt
in the mesmerism of her shadow
downpour douse the flame
of hope and drown,
my corpse her sea buoy!

HOAX

gory tool of the lazybones
cocoon in doggy bag of fine silk
a song to tickle ear
                ballad
to stir feet on dance floor
story
scheme
lullaby to lure dewy-eyed to sleep
image on the screen
                     audible
                     visible
at last
ephemeral shadow of dream,
two-edged
knife in sheepskin sheath

                      soft
                      arty
crafty
feign a foretaste of approval
amber lay in autumn leaves
smoulder
flare
burn bush and trees
scary carcass
in white-washed sarcophagus

                          ghost
                           fay
rip off the dewy-eyed!

VIMPIRE NURSE
tin-legged slender segmented
pilot, a vimpire nurse
hover two-winged flight
of high frequency throb with lank-fragile
hair-like tripod landing kids
buzz humdrum
in my ears of sleep terror disoder
shot elongated piercing stringe
into quiecent body
flick needle in brainpan
streak slurs of maroon grume
oscillate
land
suck
strum her shred guitar around
                         heralding
dengue
chikungunya
yellow fever
malaria
zika infusion
return to the ear
play the B minor key on her piano
murmur and whine
mouse
sleep flee through window crack;
instantaneous slap hammer my ear
away she pack her instrumental outdoor,
heavy with grams of gore
body welt
itch
swollen
red like pepper
fictile to cold!

BIMBO

once a striking lass
tsatske of elysian black
- vanity of black cuss
has her pleasant slough shredded
incited
the black sun, from its fiery cove
embrocate her buff with cancerous
bumps of gravel
now a funky sex box
of humour with spurious hair
caressing her trembling butt
her carmine lips of tapestry charm,
ersatz eyebrows
pendant nose
epicycloid eardrops
cream-baked forehead
on color-riot bionic fibre
- symbols of a floozie
heralding self-metamophous
from black to python-like war of colors
do not appreciate supernal
craft of gifted tint
alter black to albino white -
gray-yellow hues of Fanta and coke
our rainbow on the street
entertaining with winking colors
like chameleon in gardens of flower,
mimicking hue!

SPARKS OF LIFE
for life completion,
light
the seven candles of life
harmonise
sparks of blue peace
with green love

             along
side violet joy
let indigo knowledge
hug
yellow tranquility,
nurse orange sanctity

               kindle
red summer strength
and glow sparks of life!
