TAPESTRY OF BLACK BEAUTY
In the realm of Black culture, a vibrant tapestry unfolds
With threads of tradition, rich and bold
From Africa's cradle to the diaspora's embrace
A kaleidoscope of beauty, time and space
The strength of Black hair, in all its textures and styles
A crown of glory, that never fades or goes out of style
The thick blackness of the African heir
A unique gesture to our beauty, beyond compare
Its softness approaches its beauty when braided
To their lines of choice, a work of art displayed
Making the difference unfold, like a blooming flower
A testament to our heritage, in every single hour
The soothing vibrance of Soca, that fills our hearts with joy
When will I stop dancing to the tune of soca music!
Whining, pennies stocks to invest, in life transforming privilege
Given to us, a treasure to behold, a beauty to unfold
In every rhythm, every beat, a story to be told
The rhythmic burbling of Afrobeat, that makes our spirits soar
Soothingly, like wonder nature, a gift to Black human kind
A blessing to appreciate, in every single find
The grace of Azonto, that tells us stories on the floor
Of resilience, joy, and a history that we adore
The stunning portraits of Kehinde Wiley's artistry
The poignant stories of Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie's prose
The vibrant colors of Adinkra symbols, all wonders
Of Black beauty glowing around us, like a beacon of light
The powerful words of Maya Angelou's poetry
Breathing life into the minds of people, arousing
The myth of Nelson Mandela's unforgettable law
Glistening with hope, for painless days to come
Turning to these models, the dreams of young fellows’ glint
In the culinary artistry of Black chefs, a flavorful hint
The pioneer tech of Mark Dean, a digital trailblazer
The entrepreneurial spirit of Madam CJ Walker, a haircare empire builder
Beneath the tapestry wall of Black history, many more
Unreached adventures await, untold stories to explore
Of Black innovators, creators, and leaders yet to be told
A vast and vibrant legacy, forever to unfold
Dear Africans, I celebrate your strength and dignity today and days to come
You might not be here anymore but the legacy left behind
seem showing your presence
The inspirations left behind grow within us
The voices are ringing even till today
Your struggles are motivation to us in today's world.
LIFE IN MY VIEW
Life is a tapestry canvas wall of moment,
painted with vibrant colours, textures and emotions
Life is a labyrinth of choices, where every decision led to a new path,
Full of unknowns and possibilities.
It's a garden of growth, where we nurture our dreams, prune our fears,
and harvest wisdom. Life is a symphony of relationships,
where every connection adds a unique melody to the grand orchestra.
Life is a battlefield, a dance between light and darkness
where shadows teach us to appreciate the radiance
it's a river flowing, which sometimes
overflow its bank
Life is a moment of race, where we run to reach the goals of life.
A journey of no ending as we keep learning,
developing, acquiring and growing after growths.
As we keep working and working, after reaching our goals and dreams.
We can't even stop, even after reaching
our goals, as we keep working and working till nature calls.
Life is also a masterclass in surrender,
teaching us to let go of what no longer serves us,
making space for new experiences, and
embracing the unknown with grace and humility.

LET NATURE HOLD BACK ANGER
He entered the empire garden full of dim and bright flowers of a certain house of white dove
Walking up on the smooth texture of the stairs to a room
By his left
Opening the giant door with a loud bang, the bright rays of sun flirting the broad window space lands on his face
I guess he's furious
The brightness of the room lights spots a red black scar by the right corner of his right eye,
His glaring gaze land on the plush soft sofa
Retreating back his dark emotion
Slowly walking towards the vibrant hue sofa to sit in defeat
Eyeing around as if searching for prey. But just eyeing a mind comforter.
He gazes at the dreamcatcher, its web-like threads glistening in the sunlight. He remembers the wise words of his grandmother, who gave him the dreamcatcher: "Nature has a way of healing wounds, but you must let it in."
He takes a deep breath, feeling the gentle breeze rustle his hair. Slowly, he begins to unwind, letting go of the anger and frustration. He starts to notice the vibrant colours of the flowers, the songs of the birds, and the warmth of the sun on his skin.
As he sits there, a gentle rain begins to fall, drumming a soothing rhythm on the roof. He closes his eyes, allowing the calming melody to wash over him.
Suddenly, an idea strikes him. He remembers a nearby stream, hidden behind the garden. He gets up, feeling a sense of purpose, and walks towards the stream.
Then a solace he found in the stream's gentle flow
"Bedtime cry"
Drown in a sea of tears
Crying yourself to sleep
Then, the mind broke out its feelings, at that moment,
Silence and solitude, the amplify feeling of sadness and hopeless
Then, the tears that fall like autumn rain roll down our cheeks, is the tears of emotions "bedtime cry"
Wail until the darkness fades, shedding tears that nourish the heart at that moment, are tears before bedtime. When silence becomes our best friend, then the warm tears roll out our feelings in sadness, agony and pain. Weeping yourself into a peaceful slumber with our sudden consoler, the stillness of the night,
Sobbing our heart out, before bedtime
The time the wary heart and heavily loaded mind share it thought with silence at the darkest hour of the night, then the mind let it all out
Cried yourself to sleep, the wound in the heart show itself in that moment called "bedtime cry"
That moment, the great mind, cry until the heart is empty
The time needed by the champions to weep bitter tears, is the "bedtime cry"
Where we sob our heart out
Tears before bedtime, wounded heart, cry yourself into a hollow bone
" Bedtime cry"
Awakening To My Dream
Swaying gently wishing in the night
Smitten by the wind's soft sigh
Sifting through the darkness
Searching for the light
Clenching heart, clinging to hope
Knocking of the heart, a beat within
Screeching whispers truth to win
Rattling around the super corner of the mind
Clunking steps towards my poetry's light
Dullness fades away as desires clutches
Blabbering the whining penny stocks to blab
Shining sparkles of lights, twinkling through dazzling gleam
Whining shadows dance, a wondrous dream
Glishing sunbeams smirk, a radiant grin
Smirking shadows of my dream, a tale within.
LIVING A LIFE OF PURPOSE
The purpose of life
Is to live it
To taste experience to the
Utmost
To reach out eagerly and
Without fear for newer and
Richer experience
Having a purpose makes it impossible
To merely exist
Nothing becomes meaningless
Everything becomes a stone on the path
To delivering our reason for existence
To the world
There is no greater gift you can give
Or receive
Than to honor your calling
“chase your purpose, not your pension”
Giving back to other and living
A more balanced life
Gives the highest happiness

THE BEAUTY OF NATURE
Beauty of the nature are endless
Beautiful daffodil flowers and green surrounding
The sun, the moon, old and young trees
Small stream with clear water
Thick mass of ferns
Thickets of forest and musk rose
Are constant source of joy and happiness to man
Oh, complaisant and obliging nature
So attractive and alluring
The creative and controlling force in the universe
Beautiful flowers are part of our joy and sorrow
Beauty and richness of nature
Is diverse and massive
Living things are some of the countless
Riches of beauty that nature has to offer
It’s beautiful that nature is living and producing
When you see a water fall, an undisturbed meadow
The glassy surface of a lake, so difficult to put into words
The greatest blessing of God on human, so flawless.

THE BEAUTY OF OUR LIVES WHICH WE FAIL TO SEE BY JUST ADMIRING THAT OF THE WORLD
By faith I Bratonwan
What is this life
if full of care
what is this world
if full of love?
we have no time
to stir and see
no time to admire
the through beauty
of ourselves
No time to give
meaning to the songs of the bird in the sky
no time to pave through
the windows and smile in all
for our loving ones
No time to cherish the true beauty of our lives
just only for that of the worldWhat is this life
if full of love and care.
